The Sole Women’s Collab

I’m so excited to write about my collaboration with The Sole Women’s; a social media platform which finds the best trainer releases online and shows you where to buy them. They originated from The Sole Supplier – the hugely popular men’s version of The Sole Women’s.

When they asked me if I wanted to do a shoot with them, showcasing both my style and their’s to create a Style Guide for the launch of their new site, I couldn’t wait. It was a sick chance, for myself, to connect with a platform I had followed for a long time (not to mention create some new and exciting content – something I love to do!)

I was asked to bring a few of my own clothing items to the shoot, which demonstrated my own style. These pieces would be mixed with the team’s take on how best to style the trainers which we were creating a style guide for – The Nike M2K Tekno’s in Black.

If you wanna see how we styled the Nike M2K’s and read my interview, finding out a bit about my experience on blogging, being a fashion student and owning a small business, please check out the link below!

Stüssy: Monochrome & Stripes

Here’s how I styled my one of my newest additions to my wardrobe: the Stüssy monochrome striped long sleeve, originally bought from ASOS but I think it’s sold out now!

I paired this with some black corduroy kick flares from Urban Outfitters, Black Nike socks and Black Old Skool Vans!

Coat & Jacket Wishlist

Depop: etalaga (handmade garms)

I’ve found so many coats and jackets in the past few months, since Winter started, which I’ve wanted to buy! However, I’ve not exactly had sufficient funds to fulfil my needs and wants… (by which I mean, a maxed-out student overdraft does not equate to any funds at all really).

From this post you’ll be able to gather that I love faux fur/teddy bear fabric coats and jackets. They make any outfit look cool and to be honest, if you have a great coat on it doesn’t matter what you’re wearing underneath. Your coat is the outfit – a great statement piece.

Anyway, a girl can dream! Here’s the list you probably want to see:

And last but not least, the famous faux fur blue coat from H&M which is sold out and is now being sold for £150+ on eBay!? RRP £65-75 I think. I’m so in love 😦 Screen Shot 2018-01-06 at 15.11.23

Exploring The Saatchi Gallery in my 80s Red Bomber

This faux leather red bomber is soo dank. I’m loving the 80s vibe the jacket emits, paired with the retro, oversized black oval sunglasses. Both items from ASOS by the way! I matched this piece with an all black outfit because, as you can probably tell, I love a pop of colour. This outfit works particularly well – in my opinion – because the red jacket really appears to be the statement piece in this fit. The colour appears more vibrant amongst the black, but white would work well too.

I got a size 8 because, although the bomber is oversized anyway, I wanted it particularly big! Jess Woodley is a huge style inspiration of mine, and she pulls off a huge vintage black leather bomber so well.

A Pop of Colour

Hellooooo – here are photos of my most recent purchases from Urban Outfitters, matched with (finally) a new tee from Stussy’s SS17 new stuff. I tucked the tee in to the high-waisted mini skirt and threw on some fishnets to finish off the look.

There was a yellow denim skirt from Topshop which I had my eye on for ages, but they never had my size in stock, so I found this lime-coloured skirt, with a cute white stitch, which I ended up loving even more – so I had to buy it! (there’s me trying to justify purchases with white stitching… okurrrr b)

I had also been searching for a red mini backpack for ages, and I couldn’t find one apart from a vintage one which was selling on Depop. However, I was reluctant to buy it because I was determined to try it on with an outfit before buying, when I came across this one from Urban Outfitters. Dickies is such a good quality brand and very affordable – I love it eeee.

Ellesse meets Adidas

Looooook at Ellesse’s new drop on ASOS – their mint green velour (or velvet, whatever you prefer) t-shirt is now mine, alongside Adidas’ new iconic black bottoms in the form of wide legs trousers. They’re a dream.

I’ve needed to find some new t-shirts for a while now but I have been reluctant to spend £40 on a new Stussy or Polar t-shirt, so when I found this Ellesse tee for £25 I knew it was gonna be mine. Yummmmm.

Also, I live in black trousers. I had been meaning to find some cool sportswear ones for a while and then I also clocked Adidas had a new drop of these on ASOS, they were also mine – obviously leaving me with no money, therefore no way to live at university. Oh welllll.

Black Adidas

Recently I got a couple of new sweats which I adore so I’ve decided to start a series on them, showing you how I style my Winter Wardrobe.

This black high-neck Adidas sweatshirt is new in Urban Outfitters, costing me £50 (£45 with student discount). Sounds like a lot of p for a poor student like myself, but I know that copping this garm means I’ve got it for many years and it can be sold for a smashing re-sale price too. Sportswear brands always re-sale for the same price if not more in a couple of months/years! Plus it’s a soft cotton/fleece material inside meaning it’s gonna keep me warm for daaaays. It’s love ❤

What I’m wearing: (also relatively new stuff)

  • Flared Trousers: Bershka
  • Trainers: Nike TN’s
  • Long Puffer Coat: New Look/ASOS
  • Earrings: ASOS

ASOS Jumpsuit

I bought this jumpsuit (in the style of culottes) from ASOS and figured it can also be worn with any cardigan or jumper. This way you make the most out of your money; the bottoms look like a single pair of trousers/culottes (or whatever you choose to wear) styled with any top you like.

In my opinion, these are a great option for Spring/Summer in the UK since it isn’t the warmest but they’re still going to let your body breathe!
